An automatic groan escaped my lips as I woke up the following morning, curled up on Lucy’s bedroom floor, my sleeping bag haphazardly over me, my feet tangled in it’s bottom. My back ached, my head thumped, my throat felt like sandpaper.     The sunlight streamed in through the window, and I let out another moan. I wasn’t used to the light this early – the blinds in my bedroom blocked out all possible natural light. Reaching my hand out, I smacked the ground until I found my phone. Pressing a button, I tired to focus on the time.

As stupid as it sounds, I needed that. I wanted it, I enjoyed it. Every second we were locked together I felt like yelling out with joy, grinning madly. I deserved it. After all, how many times had I been left in a club while Lucy and Amy disappeared with guys? Riding In Vans With AngelsThe photograph sat up on a shelf, a promo shoot taken what must have been a year ago. They stood together, grinning at the camera, when things seemed to be looking up. Everything had changed in a year; no more promo shots, the country-wide tour had come to nothing. Regarding Dark Storms...

Dark Storms, currently the one thing I can see myself completing pretty soon. And that's mostly because I'm going to do a Volume Two, which will allow me to leave a huge cliffhanger at the end of Volume One, in true Heroes fashion. But anyway, I'm loving writing this, I'm getting good feedback on FanFiction.net, Mibba and it's one thing on here I know at least one person reads and likes. Which keeps me going. Added to that, every time I watch an episode of the 3rd Series (am now fully up to date with that! YES!) I just keep getting more and more ideas. It's just a matter of fitting them into the plot.
Later chapters may contain spoilers for future episodes (as in, Melinda dreams about the future, a couple of names are thrown around. Some family issues crop up concerning Peter etc.) but hey, if you're watching it on British TV you might not notice some spoilers, maybe even think it's just me messing around and when you watch the show you go 'hhheey...'. Not that people read this. Or that. But hey, wanted to post this anyway.
So basically, I'm going to try to wrap up Dark Storms: Volume One by November, so I can focus on my NaNoWriMo Novel. (Which I will be posting here) Which means, if its not finished by November, there will be very few updates, I'm afraid, because I am determained to complete NaNoWriMo this year.
Its strange, I have three different stories on the go at the moment, but it's DS that I keep coming back to, and the reason I'm on the comp at 3 in the morning because I've just finished Chapter Thirteen and am sooo excited to start on 14.
It's Dark Storms thats keeping me going at the moment, so if you happen to read this, check it out. Even if you don't watch Heroes, (I'm talking to you here Jo!:P) because I'm really proud of it and would love to hear what other people think - love it or hate it, think I shouldn't have sent ***** away? Think I'm using too much of Series 3?

In other news...I have a new second cousin :D Harry James! Such a cute name, and if he's anything like his brother he's going to be a very cute kid. Also, MIGHTY BOOSH on SATURDAY! Which I am sooo looking forward to!
Yeah, that's about it really. I'm off to write more of Dark Storms.
